2009/10/14 Union Meeting
Our local Chapter's monthly meeting will be held Wednesday, October 14th, at Chacko's, starting at 4:15 PM. Pizza and Stromboli will be served. Kindly respond by October 13th, so that I may obtain a person-count for the purpose of placing the food order.
For members who have signed-up for the 4/10 work week, please note that since the Columbus Day holiday occurs during this week, you will be working a normal 5/8 schedule. The eight hour work day may make it easier for you to attend this meeting.

Attendance:

The October, 2009 APWU Local 7067 meeting was called to order by Pat Garvey at 16:25.
Topics:
• Due to the low turnout, no formal meeting was conducted. A general discussion of various topics was held.
• It has come to our attention that the Contractors at our center have been forced to take a pay cut.
• John Stepanik plans on informing our membership of the new APWU medical plan, and how it compares to other plans.
• During our next meeting, John will provide a report covering his trip to the Presidents Conference.
• As a reminder, employees are not required to notify Audrey when requesting leave. If an Administrator makes such a request, employees are asked not to comply, as a step-2 grievance was settled on this matter.
• Both Sharon Hoffman and Bill Manley are taking the early retirement incentive. Bill will still remain our National Business Agent.

There being no further topics to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 17:00.
