Topics:

• Minutes from the October meeting were read to the group.

• Treasurer’s report: Balance is $28,364.45 after covering the recent Minneapolis travel expenses.

• It was agreed unanimously, that the 2010 Christmas Bonus would be $200.00 per member. After this is disbursed to the membership, the treasury balance should be approximately $16,000.

• Bill Manley is in Washington attending contract negotiations for the Mail Clerks.

• The nomination of officers was held:

o Patrick Garvey is running unopposed for President
o John Stepanik is running unopposed for Vice-president / Treasurer
o Patrick Boyle is not seeking reelection. Anyone wishing to assume the responsibilities of Secretary is asked to contact either Pat Garvey or John Stepanik.

• Anyone with knowledge of contractors either working from home, or working irregular hours, is asked to forward this information to Patrick Garvey.

• Pat and John will be in Washington on Dec 7, 8, and 9, regarding contract negotiations. Patrick’s expenses are covered by National. However, since John’s expenses are not covered by National, President Garvey had asked for a motion, for the local chapter to reimburse John for his expenses. Pat Boyle made the motion, Rob Riordan seconded the motion, and all attending agreed unanimously.

• Our arbitration of the Step 3 grievances will require that the local chapter share 50/50 in the arbitration expenses. This will be travel costs for the various individuals to attend the meeting. It is projected to be $1,000 to $3,000. President Garvey asked for a motion that the chapter cover these expenses. Don Recicar made the motion, Jim Marino seconded the motion, and all attending agreed unanimously.

There being no further topics to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 18:45.
